Lynn’s professional background includes holding a top C-level position at a major U.S. real estate company, where she worked for nearly 30 years. Her journey in Tanzanian travel and charity work began in 2011 when she first set foot in the country.
Upon reaching the crater rim of Mount Kilimanjaro for the first time, she exclaimed, “This was the most amazing thing I have ever done. I will be back.” That moment ignited a deep love for Tanzania, its breathtaking landscapes, and its people. During her travels, she immersed herself in the local communities and witnessed the challenges faced by many. Inspired to make a difference, she committed herself to giving back and improving the lives of those in need.

Since 2011, Lynn has invited thousands and personally accompanied hundreds on unforgettable journeys through Tanzania. She has summited Mount Kilimanjaro (19,341’) eight times and Mount Meru (14,968’) once, even completing both treks back-to-back. Beyond adventure, her true passion lies in philanthropy—supporting local communities through education, healthcare, and sustainable initiatives.

During her time in Tanzania, she met Roger, who shared her vision of using tourism to uplift communities. Together, they founded Safaris With A Heart, which has been officially registered as a local NGO in Tanzania. The organization is dedicated to improving the lives of underserved communities by providing essential support through various charitable initiatives.
Now deeply rooted in Tanzania, Lynn continues her mission through Exceptional Safaris Ltd., where she combines life-changing travel experiences with meaningful contributions to the people and communities of Tanzania.
