Tour Plan
Upon arrival in Arusha, you will be transferred to your lodge for check-in. After settling in, enjoy an orientation session about the journey ahead. In the afternoon, take a guided tour of Arusha National Park, where you can explore the lush landscapes, spot giraffes, buffaloes, and monkeys, and enjoy views of the stunning Mount Meru. Enjoy the evening at your lodge, reflecting on your first day of exploration.
After breakfast, depart from Arusha National Park and head towards Mkomazi National Park. Along the way, enjoy a scenic drive through the rolling hills and savannahs, experiencing the peaceful Tanzania countryside. Upon arrival at Mkomazi, enjoy a game drive where you’ll have the chance to see a variety of wildlife, including elephants, antelopes, and rare wild dogs. Mkomazi is also known for its successful conservation programs, and you’ll have an opportunity to learn about the park’s unique wildlife protection efforts. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and relaxation.
Spend the morning on another game drive in Mkomazi National Park, where you can explore more of the park’s vast plains, woodland areas, and waterholes. With expert guides, you’ll have the chance to spot wildlife, including predators and rare species like the African wild dog and cheetah. After your game drive, head back to the lodge for a farewell lunch, before being transferred to Arusha for your onward journey.
