Day 1: Tarangire National Park Safari

Your adventure begins with a morning departure from Arusha to Tarangire National Park. Renowned for its large elephant herds and distinctive baobab trees, Tarangire offers an exciting introduction to Tanzania’s wildlife. As you drive through the park’s varied landscapes, you’ll encounter zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, and more. Birdwatchers will also delight in the numerous bird species found here. After a delicious lunch in the park, you’ll continue your game drive until the evening, where you’ll head to your lodge for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park and Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you’ll depart for Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its flamingo-filled shores and tree-climbing lions. Explore the park’s varied landscapes, from lush forests to open grasslands, while keeping an eye out for a range of wildlife including baboons, wildebeests, and elephants. After lunch, you’ll continue to Ngorongoro Crater, where you’ll stay overnight. The evening is free to relax and prepare for the next day’s safari.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater Safari

The final day of your safari takes you to the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most extraordinary wildlife destinations in the world. The crater is home to an abundance of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, and rhinos. As you descend into the crater, you’ll enjoy the stunning views and have ample opportunities to spot the Big Five in their natural habitat. After a picnic lunch, you’ll continue your safari before returning to Arusha in the afternoon.
