Tour Plan
Your adventure begins with a scenic drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, known for its massive elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Tarangire is also home to lions, giraffes, zebras, and a variety of bird species. You’ll enjoy an exciting afternoon game drive in the park, with opportunities to capture stunning photos and witness wildlife up close. In the evening, you’ll head to your lodge for a comfortable overnight stay.
After an early breakfast, you’ll drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most unique wildlife destinations in the world. You’ll descend into the crater for a full-day game drive, where you’ll spot the Big Five—lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, and rhinoceros—along with wildebeests, gazelles, and zebras. After a picnic lunch in one of the crater's scenic locations, you’ll continue your game drive. In the evening, you’ll retreat to your lodge.
On day three, you’ll leave Ngorongoro and head toward the northern Serengeti. Known for its remote beauty and more exclusive safari experiences, North Serengeti is the perfect place to see the Great Migration (seasonal). With fewer crowds, the area offers a more intimate wildlife experience. Upon arrival, you’ll enjoy an afternoon game drive in search of wildlife and stunning scenery. Overnight at a lodge in North Serengeti.
Spend the entire day in North Serengeti, exploring the vast plains and river systems that attract wildlife. Depending on the season, you may witness the awe-inspiring Great Migration, with thousands of wildebeests and zebras crossing the Mara River. If not, you’ll still have opportunities to see resident predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park and continue your game drives before returning to your lodge.
After breakfast, you’ll drive to Central Serengeti, the heart of the park, where you’ll find the highest concentrations of wildlife. Spend the day exploring the Serengeti’s iconic landscape, including vast savannahs and rocky kopjes. The area is renowned for predator sightings, including lions and cheetahs, as well as large herds of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles. In the evening, relax at your lodge in Central Serengeti.
Another full day is dedicated to game drives in Central Serengeti, where you’ll continue to discover the park's rich wildlife. Central Serengeti is famous for its abundance of predators, particularly lions, and is also an excellent place to spot elephants, giraffes, and buffalo. You’ll have plenty of time to explore the region, taking in the expansive landscapes and vibrant wildlife. After an exciting day, you’ll return to your lodge for a well-deserved rest.
On the final day, enjoy a morning game drive in the Serengeti before making your way back to Arusha. This last game drive offers the chance to spot any wildlife you may have missed and capture your final memories of this incredible safari. After lunch, you’ll depart for Arusha, marking the end of your unforgettable 7-day adventure through Tanzania’s most famous national parks.
