Tour Plan
Arrive in Arusha, where your safari guide will greet you and transfer you to Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive as you explore the park’s diverse ecosystems. Tarangire is famous for its towering baobab trees and large herds of elephants. You’ll also spot giraffes, zebras, lions, and a variety of bird species. After your game drive, relax at your lodge for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive in Tarangire National Park. This park is one of the best places in Tanzania to see elephants in large numbers. You’ll also have the chance to spot other wildlife, including wildebeests, leopards, and buffalo. The park's diverse landscapes offer excellent photo opportunities, and your guide will help you find the best locations for viewing wildlife. In the evening, return to your lodge to unwind.
On day three, you'll journey to the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the world's most unique ecosystems. After a scenic drive, you'll descend into the crater for a full-day game drive. The crater is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including the Big Five, and is one of the best places in Tanzania to spot endangered black rhinos. Enjoy a picnic lunch within the crater before continuing your exploration. Afterward, head to your lodge for a restful night.
After breakfast, head to Central Serengeti, the heart of one of Africa’s most famous safari destinations. Known for its vast open plains and high concentrations of wildlife, Central Serengeti offers excellent opportunities to see lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and more. Spend the day exploring the park and spotting wildlife. In the evening, relax at your lodge and reflect on your exciting safari adventures.
Over the next two days, enjoy game drives in Central Serengeti, where you’ll witness the dramatic wildlife that makes the Serengeti famous. The region is home to large predator populations, and with luck, you may witness a hunt. Central Serengeti also offers a chance to see the Great Migration if you're traveling during the migration season. Your days will be filled with thrilling wildlife encounters, and you’ll stay in luxurious lodges to ensure a comfortable safari experience.
After a morning game drive in Serengeti, transfer to the airport for your flight to Zanzibar. On arrival, you’ll be transferred to your beach resort. Zanzibar is known for its stunning white-sand beaches and crystal-clear waters. The afternoon is yours to relax on the beach, swim in the Indian Ocean, or simply unwind after an action-packed safari. Enjoy a relaxing overnight stay at your resort.
Spend the next two days exploring the beauty of Zanzibar. Visit the historic Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site, known for its fascinating architecture and rich history. You’ll also have time to visit the spice farms, where you can learn about Zanzibar’s spice trade. For those looking for relaxation, the pristine beaches of Zanzibar offer the perfect escape. Snorkeling, scuba diving, and water sports are also available for the more adventurous traveler.
On the final day, enjoy your last morning in Zanzibar with a relaxing breakfast by the beach. Depending on your flight time, you may have some time for last-minute shopping or to enjoy one last swim in the ocean. Afterward, you’ll be transferred to Zanzibar Airport for your departure.
