Tour Plan

Upon arrival in Arusha, you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to Tarangire National Park. Known for its large herds of elephants and impressive baobab trees, Tarangire offers a great introduction to Tanzania’s wildlife. Enjoy an afternoon game drive before heading to your lodge for a restful evening.
After breakfast, spend the day exploring Tarangire National Park on a full-day safari. The park is home to elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, and a wide variety of birdlife. Your guide will take you to the park’s best wildlife viewing areas for a memorable experience. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight
Today, you will depart for Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions and large flocks of flamingos. Spend the day exploring the park’s diverse ecosystems, from the lush forests to the scenic lakeshore. After a game drive, head to your lodge for an evening of relaxation.
On day four, you’ll enjoy a full-day safari in Lake Manyara, spotting a variety of animals like elephants, baboons, and giraffes. The park’s striking landscapes, with views of the Rift Valley escarpment, make for a visually stunning experience. Afterward, return to your lodge to unwind and enjoy a delicious meal.
After breakfast, head to Central Serengeti, one of the most famous safari destinations in the world. Known for its vast plains and abundant wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and wildebeests, Central Serengeti offers exceptional wildlife viewing. Spend the day on a game drive before relaxing at your lodge for the evening.
You’ll have two full days to explore Central Serengeti, an area known for its large populations of predators and prey. Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Migration, where wildebeests and zebras cross the plains in search of fresh grazing. Return to your lodge each evening for a relaxing dinner.
On day eight, journey to North Serengeti, a quieter, more remote area of the park. North Serengeti offers excellent wildlife viewing, including herds of wildebeests, giraffes, and elephants, and is known for its stunning river crossings during the Great Migration (seasonal). After a thrilling day of wildlife viewing, relax at your lodge.
Spend the next two days exploring North Serengeti. Your game drives will take you through the park’s rugged terrain, where you’ll encounter a variety of wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, and hippos. Depending on the time of year, you may witness the dramatic river crossings of the Great Migration. Return to your lodge in the evening to enjoy a peaceful dinner.
On day eleven, you will take a flight to Gombe National Park, located on the shores of Lake Tanganyika. Known for its population of chimpanzees, Gombe is one of the best places in the world to experience chimp trekking. After arriving, enjoy a brief orientation before preparing for the next day’s trek.
Today, embark on a guided trek through the lush forests of Gombe in search of chimpanzees. Led by expert guides, you will have the unique opportunity to observe these fascinating primates in their natural habitat. Gombe is famous for its research on chimpanzee behavior, and your trek will be an unforgettable wildlife experience. After the trek, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Enjoy another day in Gombe National Park, either trekking with chimpanzees or exploring the park’s stunning landscapes. You can also visit the park’s research station to learn more about the ongoing conservation efforts. Gombe is also home to various other wildlife, including colobus monkeys and baboons, providing plenty of opportunities for wildlife sightings.
On your final day, enjoy breakfast at the lodge before being transferred to Kigoma for your flight back to Arusha. From there, you can catch your onward flight home, reflecting on the incredible wildlife experiences you’ve had during your 14-day safari and chimpanzee trekking adventure.
