Staying at Ngorongoro Coffee Lodge
Ngorongoro Coffee Lodge lies between the villages of Rhotia and Karatu, backing onto the Ngorongoro Forest Reserve and looking out over a working coffee plantation. It is perfectly placed for game drives into the Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara National Park, and makes a peaceful stop on the northern safari circuit.
The lodge has 26 cottages, including three two-room family suites. Each cottage has handcrafted furniture, a fireplace for the cool highland evenings, a slipper bathtub with indoor and outdoor showers, and French doors that open onto a private veranda with views over the coffee estate and forest.
Between safaris, guests can relax at the swimming pool and spa, enjoy a drink at the bar, or simply take in the view from the lodge's large veranda. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout.
