Where to Go on Safari in Tanzania
Tanzania holds some of Africa's greatest wildlife areas within a few hours of each other. Most of our journeys follow the northern safari circuit, starting in Arusha and continuing through Tarangire, Lake Manyara and the Ngorongoro Crater to the Serengeti.
Matching the destination to the season
- December to March: the Great Migration's calving season in the Southern Serengeti and Ndutu.
- April to June: the herds move through the Central Serengeti and the Western Corridor.
- June to October: the dry season, with superb game viewing in Tarangire and the Mara River crossings in the Northern Serengeti.
- All year: the Ngorongoro Crater, the Central Serengeti's big cats, Lake Eyasi and Zanzibar.
