The cover you need, emergency evacuation and altitude cover for Kilimanjaro.
We encourage all guests to obtain comprehensive travel insurance for added protection, peace of mind and cover against unexpected events during their trip.
High-altitude emergency evacuation and medical insurance, covering you up to 6,000 m (19,685 ft), is required for every Kilimanjaro climb.
We will need your insurer's name, policy number and emergency contact numbers before your trip.
Tanzania's government-required visitor insurance is separate from your personal travel insurance. We'll confirm what applies to your trip when your itinerary is booked.
