Staying at Jackals Lair Camp
Jackals Lair is a new tented camp in the quiet Nyabogati area of the central Serengeti, close to the Nyabogati River, which draws wildlife and birds all year. Away from the busier lodges around Seronera, it offers an intimate, off-the-grid stay in the middle of some of the park's best game country, with lions, cheetahs and elephants year-round and the Great Migration passing through the central plains.
The camp has ten 45-square-metre tented suites, including two family tents, each sleeping up to three guests. Every tent has king or twin beds, an en-suite bathroom with indoor and outdoor showers, and a shaded private deck.
Guests can choose shared or private game drives, bush dining and sundowners at scenic viewpoints, and there are spa treatments and a small gym. Wi-Fi is available in camp. Jackals Lair is about an hour's drive from Seronera airstrip.
